Title: CRTC puts basic service up for review; What is it and why should you care?
Description: Basic service has been a cornerstone of public service involvement in telecommunications since the 1920s. This session will provide a brief history of basic service and its sibling universal service. Panelists, some of whom have registered as intervenors at the hearings, will discuss what is at stake in the current round and opportunities for public participation.
